Why would a 19 year old medical student aspire to make a change in Parkinson’s Care ?

"As an aspiring physician, shadowing a neurology clinic in Dubai left a profound impact on me. I witnessed the harsh realities of Parkinson’s disease, especially among patients in their early 50s who had to give up careers and passions due to its devastating effects. Parkinson’s not only impairs physical abilities but also erodes one’s identity, sense of purpose, and joy.

This experience reshaped my understanding of the disease and motivated me to dedicate my career to finding solutions that empower those affected. I am committed to helping Parkinson’s patients continue to live fulfilling lives, supporting their families, and engaging in their communities. My mission is simple: to help put lives back on track."
